Usually I’m an optimistic person…but after the raise in unscheduled time pay, and the way it was presented as it was something glorious…my money is on a 3-4 cent raise. 65 would be great, but for most drivers that would be in the neighborhood of an extra 9-10 grand a year. You think WM is going to step up that drastically? We’ll see…but I’m betting something small. Hopefully I’m wrong.

In my mind the only reason they bumped up unscheduled time was due to California raising it’s minimum wage to 15. They’d have a tough sell in my neck of the woods paying drivers less than minimum wage to sit and babysit loading and unloading.

I’m a dedicated driver… been at 5 different DC’s in 5 years. I have 18 years experience driving a rig. No tickets: no incidents on my record… I’ve seen a lot of Walmart drivers do dumb things too: it’s not just us dedicated………
