Can you run on the passenger side tank only?

My Volvos ONLY measured fuel on the driver side.

 

There’s millions of Volvos out there, Just find a used one any size you want and go.

 

Try toilet floor wax. No idea how it will hold against diesel. But that my "duct tape " for leaks

 

Yes if there are cross flow taps you should empty the leaky tank out, switch the tap off on the drivers side tank, and just run off the passenger side tank it will mean you'll have to fuel up much more frequently though if your doing OTR. Surely though you can get someone to fix the problem up personally I'd get someone one to weld a piece of metal over the whole crack rather then just try and weld the actual crack or hole this is probably why it started leaking again.Or get the boss to buy either another pre - used tank or a entirely new one [/QUOTE]
