Hey, thanks for all the replies.
I think my gut was right then for sure, but you always have that other feeling saying you should check it out more to.
The truck is a 1999. By the time its paid off I figured it would be over a million miles. So I am off to get a real job finally I guess, going for FAST card interview tomorrow.
Thanks again. -
Good choice! Whats a Fast Card interview?

A cow is a cow, whether it is brown or black and white.
And this lease deal - well, probably not a cow, sounds more like a "pig in a poke." I think you are right in passing this one by. -
The FAST Card gives you expedited access to and from Canada (theoretically). You can use it instead of a passport. A lot of the companies here in Michigan are looking for people with one. Getting one goes something like this.
1. Give them a whole bunch of personal information.
2. Pay them (Department of Homeland Security) $50 dollars for there trouble.
3. Do a face to face interview.
Hopefully I'll have one at the end of all that.Big John Thanks this. -
That truck you described sounds like an ex Wal Mart truck. ( not necessarly bad). You shouldn't be charged anything for trailer maintainence/insurance etc. I paid $347 a month for full insurance on my new '07 power unit in '07/'08, but, I had/have an excellant driving record. This deal is tilted in the other guy's favor. As a driver for his company, you're in good shape. If you become a business partner, you will see a different side of him.

Where can I find a ex Walmart truck at that price? 10 to 12 grand?
