It’s obvious you are looking for someone to agree with you..
    However, life happens.

    It’s called a road hazard.

All pavement is made with rock.

I lost a week old windshield one time on I465 on Indianapolis cause a car drifted onto the shoulder.

Hell I’ve had my drive tires throw rocks onto the hood before I bought full fenders.

All this peace and harmony. Sounds like I'm at yoga retreat or something. Let's be real, I'm never going to fight anybody. But I'm never going to help or lend a hand to one of them either. I'll just be useless and get in the way.

Sadly you've just gotta roll with it. It sucks but there's really no other way around it. Sleep on it, you'll feel better in the AM.

I'm a wuss. I just took it back to the yard for repair and decided to sit it out at home. Probably could use the break anyway. The other dispatcher I have problems with occasionally might scream about it, but I'll just shrug.

At least you weren't 1,000 miles away from home or any place to park it other than a truckstop.

Yep. Got to start looking at the brighter things of the mess. I do regional as it is and am definitely glad it didn't happen some place like near Denver or Hutchinson. Granted at least in the Denver area I could probably couch surf at some bicycle community friends place. But Hutch? Don't know anyone there.

That said, I might even just take the entire week off. Eat the loss and get started fresh on Friday night. Haven't had a vacation since getting canned from my last job in 2015, LOL.
