I ahem know a guy that has one sitting in a buddy’s yard for like a year and a half now… I bet he can be convinced to give you a real fair price on it if you came all the way out here

Yeah im just on the waiting list now for one. Just cant move the truck , waiting for plates, going out on my own. Already got authority activated just waiting on the plate so i can get going, everything else is already set up. Filling out carrier packets with some brokers i worked with in the past that were good, while im waiting around. Got my eye on a couple new trailers and used. Dorsey all aluminum 48ft flat is what im going to go with. Brand new ones are coming to my area but not until march . may just have to do power only in the meantime

Dang brother, that is great news. I thought you were going that way by what you weren't saying. It's a whole different ball game being on your own. Alot more responsibility and paperwork, but once you catch on and get a system down.....you'll never go back! Super stoked for you!

Thanks man. I think its just the only way i will be truly happy is out on my own...i just know im gonna get my ### kicked this first year. I know thats gonna be my biggest hurdle starting out is keeping paperwork in check. Since im not used to doing any of it. But i have some spreadsheets made up that i think will help me keep organized. Never know until i actually get going though. Figure spend the winter time getting everything set up then when freight pickups in march ill be ready to hit the ground running. Just watching the loadboards and watching some lanes i wanna run in the meantime while im sitting around..

Truck had two tanks. Removed the tank and all the tank mounts to get the box on. Kept all the stuff to put back on when time to sell. Only a few times I really would have liked to have the other tank.

Whenever I get my truck back, I'm gonna measure and see how much room I have between the tank and front drive axle. I know I can get a 3ft box in there, but I want a 60" box. I want the same boxes as I have on my trailer. I dunno what I'm gonna do. I've been so wishy washy lately about it.

Edit: heck, it took me 8 months to decide on a seat.......lol.
