Central Lease

Never Lease with ANY COMPANY!!!

 

I had a lawyer look over the lease he said to not go into the room without a lawyer or don't complain about it later. DO NOT LEASE A TRUCK FROM CENTRAL, I HEARD MANY DRIVERS ARE IN THE HOLE TO THEM UPWARDS OF $5000.00

 

You have to put 20 percent away for taxes!! Actually it is more than likely less. But 20 percent is safe. As a solo owner op, with Central continuing to hire like crazy most drivers are only getting 2100 miles per week. I know several drivers with them, they are taking home $400 -$500 weekly after taxes.

 

take home 400 500 weekly. sounds about right these lease companies are making a killing off there drivers. You do the math it takes .80 a mile to operate a truck. lease pays .94+.37fsc = 1.31. Now take .80(cost of opertate)+.20taxes=1.00. your making .31x2200=682.00 . same as company driver. am i missing something here. I saved some money as a company driver years ago. put money down on a truck im home every night .work 1day a weekend everyother week. and gross 3200. after expenses. i take home 1200 sumtimes 1500 week.HOME EVERY NIGHT WEEKENDS OFF.I read the lease with this outfit. they charge you 25.00 for every 1/32 over 10,000 miles on your tires. whos paying for these tires. i believe the driver is so why are they charging you.The more turns and backing you do the more you where the tires down. you got super singles they where faster .i dont get it. I read where a driver paid is truck off. payments 557.00 a week x 48months. thats comes to $115,856. plus 10,000 buyout = 125,856. I gaurantee the dealer who lays in the same bed as the company didnt pay that much for it they made a killing off that driver. that truck brand new prob sold for 90,000. and heres the kicker he didnt even get to right off the depreciation during those 4yrs. I figure that driver in the end if the truck was BRAND NEW when he go it paid 25,000 to much thats with 12.5% interest on a 90,000 loan.
