    If they were to bump mileage to .80, and remove all activity pay, nearly every driver in the fleet would make LESS money. I just don’t see that happening. What I do see, as I’ve said before, is a small bump in pay followed by a thoroughly upbeat propaganda message exclaiming how well we’re paid, how great our benefits are, and more…blah blah blah.

    Average is going to depend on what part of country you're in, what DC you work out of, how hard you work, etc. If I were to guess, I'd say average is around 1850.00 per week, average. Again, a guess.

    You are right. To attract and retain good drivers it needs to be a really big raise. If it's not I think a lot of current drivers will go elsewhere.
