Hello
After some research,I found this portable generator
RYOBI RYI2322E
with remote start and shutdown.
https://www.homedepot.com/p/RYOBI-O...ickid=TdPTBQUV-xyIU6LXgwxrqU8ZUkGy-w0YQ1F2XM0
So,the next is to get an AC. some one use 5000BTU portable AC plus window exhaust pipe
kit. but also some people put a window AC under the bed and lets the hot air blow out from a opened cabin storage door.
Is 5000 btu enough during the summer?
What kind of AC is the best for this generator?Waiting for your comment, thanks!
The best cheap Redneck APU?

I have one for my RV.Its nice, you can monitor it on your phone, check fuel and shut off if needed.I don't know if it will run an AC unit or not.It runs wide open when I make a pot of coffee.
It runs very quiet.c.w Thanks this. -
That's not much of a generator to run an A/C. Think you'd need to step it up. My 2k Honda will not run the small unit on my pop up camper

2000 watt harbor freight and a 10k portable btu ac is what I have, cools the bunk but needs the curtain closed and this way I just have to put the hose out the window
I don’t think 5k would do it unless you have a small flat topc.w and ProfessionalNoticer Thank this. -
I also use a 2k watt inverter generator from Harbor Freight. You can buy a tandem kit that allows you to combine two of them together for double the output.

might as well just go with the bigger generator and have one less engine to worry about IMO86scotty Thanks this.

I use two for easier movement/carrying although many people wouldnt need to move it very often.

for $100 more you can get this predator 3,500 (it's what I use)... quite as a Honda.. can run a ac. (It'll run my 5,500 btu ac for 11ihs hrs on 2 gl) I added a remote start kit... add the 2 year warrenty (FREE replacement for any reason) just walk on the store "hay it doesn't start" and 15min later walk out with a new one on the box....!
3500 Watt Super Quiet Inverter Generator
You'll want a 5,500 btu or BIGGER portable acLast edited: Feb 3, 2022
c.w, 86scotty and shooter19802003 Thank this. -
OP, you need more generator if you're going to do this. That one is too expensive for it's size anyway. Lots of people have had great luck with the Predator 3500.
Plus, what self respecting redneck doesn't get his gear from Harbor Freight?kemosabi49, LameMule, stuckinthemud and 1 other person Thank this.
