If you sold your truck right now you could retire off that!

I'm 69, so retirement isn't too far off whether I'm ready or not LOL.

Id give it another 3 to 6 months. You’ll be able to tell when it changes from spring to summer if we’re on the edge of a cliff or if things continue to surge.

Good point, and I'm not in a huge hurry to make a move. I like my truck and I pretty much just do what I please. I'm a little concerned that I'll just rust away if I don't have something to do with myself after about a year of being retired. Just that my wife keeps bugging me once in a while to retire and my truck and trailer should bring a pretty decent price.

From what I’ve seen most of Penske’s units are up for sale-with 500K to 600K miles on the clock on average(mostly Volvos).

My units work a local market. our first two leases took over 2 years to break 100K but 99% is North Jersey, NYC, Long Island and West Chester so those low miles are deceiving, Those first 2 leases went back last year with under 400K after 7 years and are probably just as tired as a 600K tractor.
