Not long. I just bump out three or so panels as big as coil to be loaded. Super light panel too.

I've owned Quickdraws and Fastracks over the years.
Shop around among the system mfrs on price. I know some give a discount at the Louisville truck show.
You will definitely want to pay attention to your surroundings if you get one. I watched on guy run his into a building's overhang and tore the heck out of it. Gorilla tape was his friend that day.

I run a 53’ QuickDraw and love it but if you’re just doing coils etc maybe the extra width wouldn’t be worth it??

It’s a learning curve and never pull ahead or back with it open unless you know you have the height clearance

I don’t do just coils. Do all sorts of freight so having the Conestoga works well
I had it built with a 103.75 inside height with no corners that would block and containers or squares items

Has worked well for my work

Good advice. I see so many guys with tall/wide roll-tites that haul single coils 80 per cent of the time. Makes no sense to me but to each their own.

I have seen, operated and repaired many types of these systems and Quick draw is the simplest, most durable and cost effective system out there, IMO. But as already stated, pricey for the convenience. Definitely a time saver.

Sidekit is fine for coils only. Conestoga makes you more versatile with different loads. Nobody with a sidekit enjoys breaking it completely down. I enjoyed hauling coils only with my sidekit.

Have you ever hauled from Portage IN, US Steel, and if so, do you remember the broker you used?

couple times recently i’ve seen step connies that are low- like i dont bet the interior clearance is over 6’6” on the bottom deck, and the top is rounded?

i’m scratching my head over that setup.
