You're welcome, my friend. I'm glad it worked out for you. Did they also give some GL coverage included along with your Liability and Cargo?

I've never used a Northland specific agent but an agent I quoted with a couple years ago checked them and claimed Progressive was better.

Personally, it's not the quote amount that seals the deal for me. It's all the other factors combined that I base my decision on ultimately.

That's good. Mine was included in the quote without having to ask. That impressed me.

With Great West, I will be able to issue my own certificates too or have them do it as I please. It's nice when you don't have to wait for it and can do it yourself.
Northland like Great West locks one agent working on your quote.

How do you shop for your coverage? Do you let one agent request quotes from Progressive, Northland, Great West, etc?
Or do you have two agents at the time of renewal? Don't you think is best to have separate agents?
If you have the same agent working on your quotes, they don't really care who you go with as long as you stay. But once you separate each agent, each agent wants to give you the best quote/s possible, one to keep you, other one for you to switch.

Did they raise your premium after your claim and by how much? I wouldn't want to make a claim if the premium will go way up.

If you're ever going to grow, great west is not for you. They will only allow 1-2 trucks added per year, and that's it.

    Thank you.

I don't see myself adding another truck anytime soon. Good drivers are hard to come by these days. If I purchase another truck, the truck would be a spare for me.
Someone said that Northland has A++ rating and Great West has A+ rating. But many aren't qualified by Great West. So, maybe that is why. Great West seems to give best coverage. And they are covering more for less for me. :)
    I'm so happy I made a switch.

No increase. They also have a deductible that reduces 25% for 4 years with no claim. I believe a claim for breakdown benefits doesn't count. That's for the $1,000 deductible.

This is not true. Maybe in your case it was, but we have grown from 1 truck to 15 with GW, and they have been great the entire time. GW could be significantly more than the other 2 mentioned here, and I would still have a hard time moving my business. All insurance is fine when nothing bad happens. The way we've been treated when stuff gets hairy (claims) with GW is easily worth a premium.
