Not sure if this post breaks the rules but it’s not advertising so I hope not. I’m moving from Seattle to Louisville and have a 20’ shipping container at home. Is it worth moving (full of our stuff) or should I just sell it and pay $4500 for a 16’ POD? Looks like I can sell my container for 4k right now so it would cover a big portion of the POD cost.

What kind of company would I contact about something like this? It would have to be picked up from and delivered to a residence on both ends. If you’re a broker than can help, feel free to message me. I’d love to keep it but I have a feeling the transport costs will be too high.

It would cost you double the cost of the pod to have it loaded, hauled and unloaded.

That’s sort of what I was expecting to hear. Especially since I need it loaded and unloaded at a residence. I guess I’ll just sell it here to cover the cost of the move and then buy one over there if I really want one again.
