this is a perfect example of the turmoil that big companies can put u through.

 

everyone should read that full article before ever considering a lease-purchase with a carrier.

 

This is one of the more horrific cases I've seen come out of this. As far as getting it resolved, get in line with the rest is probably the unfortunate answer. It will take years to sort out all the lawsuits.

These people need to do some serious jail time.

 

Yea, this case alone can see them serious jail time.
That is grand larceny. 130,000 stolen from this driver. And that is without interest.
There is no way that the company did not know they had stolen his money.
I am guessing that they did the same to all other lease OPs in that time frame, plus the refinancing of the trucks without the lease Ops permission.
This is why you lease from a dealership, not from a trucking company.

 

Fraud.

They need to do serious time.
