Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

Foreway transportation based out of coopersville, michigan
-
did you use to work for foreway by any chance?Im asking because my late husband use to work for them and maybe you would know him depending on the time you worked there.
-
Hmm, they must have changed their hiring area, and they didn't even ask me, LOL. It must be because we've gained Third World status here as far as freight. I live well north of Detroit, as well as quite a few other SNI drivers. Just trying to help out as best I can.
-
No I have not worked for Foreway. I have seen an ad for them hiring online. -
Transport Services out of Midland, you can apply online. They haul chemicals out of Dow, have alot of terminals. You will need your hazmat tanker endorsment. Tests are easy just time for the backround check to come back.

If you're going to Grand Rapids, check out NTB. You do 5 days out and 2 home. Not sure of the pay scale as I retired from there in 2002.
The website is www.ntbtrk.com.
Good luck. -
Equity based out of Walker Mi USED to have drivers in and out of West Michigan weekly, or twice a week, but home-time was slim. I drove for them in the early 1990's and the owner has since retired. I am not sure how his son runs it now.
