Big 3 Truck Stops : Who has the best rewards card?

Ive been retired almost 2 years now, but I drove for a Fedex ground contractor. We got either 20 or 25 points per gallon at PFJ. I stopped at a Pilot the other day and got a drink and chips. Paid for it with my points. Asked cashier what my balence was. She told I still have $1200 + to go. I need to figure out something to use those points on.

 

I only use those stops for fuel(company fuel rules)and a shower. Otherwise I know of a lot better places to eat and sleep.

 

Pilot needs to change their new reward system. You go up a half a point for each 50 gallon fill up. So let’s say technically you have two 100 gallon tanks. Maybe you have 50 gallons left. Pull up to the pump, pump 50 gallons and turn it off. Close it out and then start over and pump another 50 gallons. Do that three times and you gained 1.5 points with one fill up. Do that twice, which conceivably you could do within the first two days of the month and then you’re earning four points for the rest of the month. Lol

Now I’m a company driver, they would probably wonder why I did three different transactions and I’m not sure they would understand or like me doing that. But it’s just an idea. It’s stupid because for 300 gallons of fuel technically you could be at pretty much four points. Instead of it taking around 1000 gallons.

 

Put on 1500 gallons at loves and next month you start earning 4 points the first day on the month.

 

It's 75 gallons per level. Per day.
