That’s right..... and I never said that a shaker doesn’t excite me. I have to post some pics of an FLB Dad bought from Ritchey Bro’s auction in Dallas in the early 90’s. Had a 400 Cummins in it. I’m not a fan of the hummin Cummins either, but that thing was right enough I’d sported it with no problems. Now to clarify (not for you but for the Cummins is best thing ever crowd) I’m not bashing them. Or saying they are not good. I’m saying I have other preferences lmao.

Let’s be honest, that was written back when Freightliners were a premium owner operator truck with an endless list of options from the factory. Glitter wheels, walnut trim, Diamond stitching. If you could dream it up they would do it.Gatordude, singlescrewshaker, pumpkinishere and 8 others Thank this.

I was just poking fun. Dad had bought new a 86 flc BC3 400, small bunk with a aluminum hood. Only wish I knew were that was. It wasn't stock long. But it ran, and ran well. But I've put alot of miles on others. 88 379, white 425B, and one 97 379 525p N14 that I was particularly fond of. Two of the most solid performing trucks I ever ran, and a 99 pete daycab with a 475 cat. But the 2005 379 and acert was a cheap truck and a engine that might not leave the barn, let alone get back.
They are all garbage this day and age. Don't really matter what the name is on the hood.singlescrewshaker, pumpkinishere, exhausted379 and 3 others Thank this.
