Wow!!! Tbh, three decades ago, TA was good. Two decades ago, FJ was good. Decade ago, Pilot was my favorite. Now? Loves ftw!

 

I still drive past it to Bessemer for Bob Sykes BBQ.

 

Hell they should BBQ all the Pilots with weird layouts and exceptionally tight parking.

 

Hey man think of all the families stuck there with no gas $. They just need a couple dollars for gas have some charity! /s

 

And they ain’t driving no car or anything with 4 wheels and an engine!!

 

Well that sucks. We need more parking not less. The Petro across the street will fill up faster, then how am I going to get my Charlie’s steak?

 

That ain't no lie. Years ago I was standing in line at the fast food restaurant there when somebody in a car robbed the restaurant through the drive-up window.

And that was after a crackhead had jumped up on my running board before I pulled into the truck stop.

 

For those of you that take your 30 minute break on the fuel islands...
If a fire breaks out, is danger close, do you end your break and start over at a fuel island elsewhere or just cowboy up and sit there ?
