one way or another the formers owners will be forced to pay the child support money...or they will do jail time when they get caught until they make the payments...

It would be nice, but I really doubt they will.

YOU are ultimately responsible for the money. It is YOUR obligation (if child-support is ordered), NOT the company's. The company isn't even obligated (in most states) to with-hold child support payments. The only liability the company is for FRAUD, and would eventually have to pay the money back to YOU.

In most cases, the company is LIABLE and required to withhold child support payments. If the employee has been notified and the employer contacted, then the law dictates it.

We can keep going round and round about this, but it comes down to each state's rules and regulations.

In PA it's your responsibility to make sure it is paid.

    According to the Pennsylvania website

    Wage Withholding
A procedure by which scheduled deductions are automatically made from wages or income to pay a debt, such as child support. Wage withholding often is incorporated into the child support order and may be voluntary or involuntary. The provision dictates that an employer must withhold support from a non-custodial parent’s wages and transfer that withholding to the appropriate agency (the Centralized Collection Unit or state Disbursement Unit). Also known as income withholding.

So if the drivers pay stub says the child support was withheld from the drivers pay, then how can the state then go after the driver, as far as the driver knew it was paid. Pielsticker should be the liable since hes the one that took the money and spent it foolishly.

One of the reasons that I posted that they should be getting an attorney involved.

It does not look clear either way.

The driver should have been aware that the withholding was being made and also aware it was being sent to the proper authorities. After all, the shortage would have been obvious within a very short time.

someone brought it up here in OK and they said Arrow was responsible and drivers were ok up to the last check that said it was deducted. He still has property here that belongs to him and it has been put under liens and so forth already so he may get away, but his stuff wont. Ok is real good at collecting anything they are owed.
