Century/ Columbia door panel question

door panels can be tricky but once u figure it out its not bad. ive got columbia doors on my century and theres a couple hidden snags that trip up most people. first is the thru bolt so u remove the triangle screen in the top left and u will see it screwed into a bracket thats floating. remove the fiberglass cover from the mirror and u will see the head of it. when u go back together it usually slips out of place(bracket) and u cant start the screw. dont just leave it out cause thats the main attachment when u pull the door shut. second is the hidden screws along the outer door frame where the latch is. pull the plastic covers and u will see the screws. the window problems that snag u are due to the top window riser being screwed to the inside of the top of the door panel. when u pry the panel back u can see it but cant reach it. in order to get to it simply roll the window down and now u gain movement in the top window riser track. if u have power windows remember that the motor is also held in by panel pressure so make sure its aligned before u button it up. a lot of people will put an additional screw on the top right panel corner where it pulls up against the door frame as this is an area where they needed to put another screw and they forgot to. when reassembling to line up remember to roll the window up and down to get the panel in place, sometimes it slipsin one area with it up and other areas with it down. start with the thru bolt from the mirror mount and leave it loose until everythings in place.after u think uve got it in place before u start putting the 100 screws back in make sure the window rolls up and down and if it does then finish.
