    A motorist fleeing the scene will continue fleeing the scene, until acted on by an outside force.....an oncoming truck. That adrenaline is powerful man.

    "The semi truck driver was not hurt in the incident". Maybe not that needed medical attention on the scene, but believe it or not, very few drivers are unaffected by killing someone, even a guy who caused head on collisions. I used to be a workers' comp adjuster, and I had one just like this, except the guy lived and had deliberately gotten in front of the truck after causing an accident. I can't say if the driver ever got over it in the 25 years since, but in the 2 years I had him, he didn't look like he was ever going to drive again.

    Hmm, let's see, Saturday night, 3am, disgruntled 20 year old, goes wrong way in an attempted suicide,,police are baffled. Please, let's remember, this was a person and not a POS, perhaps a sick person, with seemingly no other choice but to end it, at 20 years old, mind you.
