Exactly right. Don't forget that if anything leaking hits the ground you have either a HazMat or HazWaste spill depending on what state you're in.
We've hauled two loads of crushed cars. We hauled the second one because we couldn't believe that everything that happened to the first one was normal. It was. The second load was the last load.DeereRunner97, Swine hauler, cke and 8 others Thank this. -
Canada has enacted the emergency act to stop the truck drivers protest.
Can't have pesky truck drivers speaking up for themselves. Squash that by use of force.

There was a steel scrap hauling outfit where I used to live that did crushed cars had those goofy mesh tarps all ripped up. I think they just pulled over when CVE was working that stretch of highway to save the time of lighting them up. They went to quad axle high-side end dumps that must have been exciting to tip out at 105,500.

The R permit guys in NY do the same with scrap and dumps. I believe they're permitted for 117k for quad axle trailers. The scrap comes out of NYC and 17 is nothing but steep hills east of Binghamton all the way down the CatskillsDeereRunner97, Swine hauler, cke and 8 others Thank this.

That seems odd. They doing some sort of work on the place? You have a petro and a one9( pilot) across the highway, then there is are 2 pilot/flying J’s a short distance to the east of there.DeereRunner97, cke, Crusader66 and 7 others Thank this.

This forum taught me to stick with a firm NO on crushed cars and cow hides. Onions on the other hand, I just had to try. My tarps still give off the fragrance. I'd probably do them again as soon as I forget how many times I had to stop to adjust them and the last 500 miles of increasingly leaning stacks lol.DeereRunner97, Gatordude, Swine hauler and 18 others Thank this.
