I've made posts here before. I just left my 2nd job that I've been with for 6 weeks. I know that's really bad but here's what happened. Kinda gross but I've been having ALOT of bright red blood in my poop. Like it's so much when I wipe the ENTIRE piece of toilet paper is bright red and the water is bright red too. My cousin just died from colon cancer at 36 so this is really scaring me.
This has been happening for about a month and I told my employer that I needed to be home on the 16th because I needed to go to the doctor. I let them know a week in advance. So yesterday I get a preplan going way out of route. I wouldn't have made it back to Texas by the 16th. I told dispatch and they just said "did you tell your fleet manager?" I said YES!!! I told them this a WEEK in advance.
They basically said that I needed to complete the load anyways. I just turned in my keys. Like bright red blood is coming out of my butt and I need to get it checked out. I guess the load to them was more important. I am currently on a bus back to Texas and will be home today by noon. I was just looking around and found a local job that only required minimum experience. I called and they want me in for a interview Wednesday. I told them about my last two jobs and they really didn't say anything about it. They basically said you need 3 months experience and completion of a State Accredited CDL School, which I have both.
So does this look really bad on my record? I wanted to stay with my last company, but the fact that delivering a load is more important than my health really bother me. I let them know this DAYS in advance. Besides I haven't been home since I started with them which was six weeks ago. My first job I left was because I was only making .32 cents a mile. I never saw a paycheck higher than 500 with them.
Will This Affect Future Job Prospects?

My doctor's appointment was at 9am and my interview was at 3pm. I figured I could try to go to both. I really don't like sitting without a job for long periods. I'll reschedule the interview. It's a local job home every night type deal.bryan21384 Thanks this.

You made the right move. Health and family first. Just make sure you continue to communicate your needs, and put them in writing. Anytime you talk to someone, get the name of the person you're speaking with! Especially phone conversations.
tscottme and nadiyah2000 Thank this. -
