So, all parties involved know each other? Even gave a courtesy call before kicking in the door. Sounds like the one guy got a belly full of bird shot. They will never get all of that out.

Friend of mine got shot in the belly when he was young hunting.......pop them like a zit. They was always coming to the surface.

That being said.....avoid getting shot is alot smarter

I ordered two from my local Michelin man in August,... just came in last week.
Didn't really need them, but thought it would be prudent to have a pair in the rack.
$650 or so?

 

Yeah sounds like they all know each other. That's what I thought was strange, the other guy having the shotgun handy. Somehow got warned I bet?
Or just lucky and having the gun right by him at the moment. 1st one makes more sense to me

 

Glad to hear that. Was checking your location earlier when you mentioned it, and saw a lot of little red circles on the Google maps where you said you were.

Article said the defender had received threatening calls earlier...so yeah, I thnk they knew each other, but would explain why he had the shotgun handy when the door flew open.
