I had to recover a fricks load today. Had a guy wreck a truck an trailer last night. Going to HEB Houston for Thursday. I'll probably be tied up most of Thursday with that. Cuz they will reject some of this freight cuz there are a lotta smashed an torn cases. So depending on how long heb takes an how long it takes to get rid of the rejected freight will determine if i can get reloaded on Thursday or not.57 model, Lumper Humper, mdmgolfin and 1 other person Thank this.

She's at home enjoying time with the grandkids. A 1C is coming down. Has to come down 2 more points before she can get back in the truck. Probably be a couple more months or so. It so far has been a slow process.57 model, Lumper Humper, dwells40 and 1 other person Thank this.

Jesus, it seems to be more accidents these days. I'm back at the yard now. I left Chicago loaded with a fresh clock, so I thought I was dropping at the yard and moving on to something else. Well I dropped at the yard, but I gotta camp out til morning. I thought to myself, well since the laod was going to St. James, I may as well have delivered it if I wasn't going to stay busy. That Hershey load really derailed my week. At this point, I'll do good to see 2000 miles. On a side note, there was an overturned truck right at the 247 on 44. That held me up over an hour. The truck was facing east bound, but upside-down, and nearly on the west bound side! They had slow traffic on both sides of 44. That was a big mess for real, it may have been one of the worst messes I've seen live time57 model, Lumper Humper, mdmgolfin and 1 other person Thank this.

I had to take pics of that truck an trailer and the freight for safety. The truck was totaled. Not sure about the trailer. It'll need a new sub frame and tandems plus 3 holes patched in the roof. Not sure bout the reefer motor unit. It was still running but it had a big tree limb stuck through the doors on the front of the carrier unit. I heard the driver was able to walk to the ambulance an then got took to the hospital. So hope he's ok.bryan21384, 57 model and Lumper Humper Thank this.

Dang man.....I'm glad the driver is ok....I hate to hear when these things happen but it's definitely a reminder to be careful out here.57 model, Professor No-Name, mdmgolfin and 1 other person Thank this.

Western KY, although I'm working toward relocating to the Pacific Northwest.....but I don't know if you guys run a lot of freight there. That's why I want to leave this current company, not enough freight in the West.Last edited: Feb 16, 2022
