@VinceBlack, thank you for all this info and special thanks to @Chinatown for posting so much on this forum that you come up in my Google search quite frequently when looking for answers to my many questions I have regarding the trucking industry so thanks for your valuable contributions on here… appreciate you & “Vince” here because I had never even heard of Freymiller until I discovered this forum (I think someone was asking for felon or background-friendly carriers that will give felons a chance, etc.) I just applied to Freymiller the other day & already have been in frequent contact with a recruiter from there by the name of Richard Carroll. He is very informative and is on top of it when it comes to communication. I never have to wait too long to hear back from him or if I have a specific question, he is quick and prompt to answer it and responds back typically within 5-10 mins. The emails he has sent me have been packed full of information and answers to the many questions I already had in mind regarding the orientation and training process. Very pleasant experience so far, I have no complaints! Now I am just waiting for him to find me a trainer, which at the moment there supposedly is none available. He claims it could take anywhere from 1 week to even a few months to match me with one. So that is the hold up in the hiring process for me right now. Hopefully, they find one soon so I can be on that flight to OKC for orientation and begin my training. Will keep everyone updated as I have more info.
