I just got done watching an episode of Heavy Rescue 401 where a cattle trailer broke open and several bovines got loose on the highway.
They herded them into a tunnel and blocked the ends until another cattle trailer showed up.Crusader66, Rugerfan and pete781693 Thank this. -
They were fortunate the tunnel was close by and someone was thinking quickly. Most of the time it seems they haul in portable pen panels and while they are waiting for those to arrive inevitably someone will hit one that is roaming around in the street.
Crusader66 and MACK E-6 Thank this. -
In the 35 years I've haul cows .. I've laid them over twice both times on the count of drunks.. once in down town OKC on 35 and once on US 30 just east of Plymouth Indiana.. the 1 in Indiana I can't tell you how they rounded up what was left of my load..I got life flighted but the 1 in OKC every badge wearing Ftard showed up and they just starting shooting everything that had a heart beat didn't matter if they were walking or not .. hell they even shot the calves in the trailer .. it pissed me the F off because they were laughing when they gunned them down.. My insurance company took the OK City Police & the State dicks to to court and won it cost the OK City Police & State patrol departments 35k each
