Anybody here who drives bare feet?

As long as you ain’t stepping out in your birthday suit no one cares. Even the ones that complain about the flip floppers never seem to remember the naked bubbas of yesterday.

 

I remember when I thought the flip-floppers were the lowest form of life in trucking, before I discovered what was coming next. smh

He won't care as long as you don't complain about him driving naked and at "attention"..

 

Nah, the other pedal is an app on his phone or his dispatcher's PC has a remote clutch for his truck.

 

Myself and 3 of my drivers all drive in socks / indoor shoes , way easier to keep the truck clean in the oilfield.

 

HA! I was going to say, that old R model Mack had such a stiff clutch, you needed boots to help hold it down.

 

I used to drive in tennis shoes, back before clutch pedals were museum exhibits. I learned why a boot heel is a life saver on one rainy day. In my life we've gone from people dressing up to fly, to naked camping as a TV show and roosters in suburban neighborhoods.
