If I understand what I read on the court case they are all already facing 16 count's of fraud/embesselment and now child support fraud/embesselment to the top of that, the IRS is going to build a special jail just for them and bury them under it.

Wonder if any driver's could follow suit and if so have they yet?

You are still responsible to make sure it gets paid, I had a friend spend a weekend in jail because of bottom feeding local company not making the payments. It was worked out Monday morning, but it still comes down that you are the first one they go after.

    Yes and no.

You have the amount withheld from the check. You are on the road. You going to call and see if they sent it. They tell you they did.

Personally, I think they should have been contacting the place it gets remitted to weekly.

However, I wonder why the ex spouses were not calling because the money was not there?

    Maybe, maybe not.

You have the amount withheld from your check. You are on the road. You call to verify they sent the check. They tell you they did. At this point, you have done all you can. Should they have went and requested a copy of the cancelled check?

There is a limit to what ANY business will let an employee do. Looking at their checks and questioning them is where it stops.

I don't pay child support. I'm still happily married, don't understand the ex spouse things.

I took care of a lot of stuff while on the road, today with modern tech it's hard to be out of contact for long. I could understand the not staying in touch problems if it was the 70's, 80's and maybe the early 90's.

It's your life and well being that is at stake, you need to be on top of things today.

I am in the same boat you are except after 32 years, never had kids.

I have tax clients that cannot get the paid to information from the employers. They get it from the courts.

I still do not see how they were not noticed long before. The courts really go nuts in serveral of the states where I have clients.

Truth is there is no money or assets at Arrow. What little there is will be sucked up by lawyers. If the drivers would have been responsible enough to pay their child support on their own they wouldn't be in this mess.

They collect Social Security tax on the driver and never forwarded to the Government either about 9 million according to Transportation Allience Bank. There is a link to they story from an Ogden UT TV station in the bad trucking companies forum.
