Probably no warranty left. Nice truck, but insane price.

Depends on what the warranty period is for Paccar products in Canada-if they have one.

1 year body from Paccar, it's a glider so I'm assuming the cat warranty was 3 years, so it's probably done also.

Either way, I wouldn’t drive any of them. They’re overrated anyway

We got quoted 205k for for a t680, a year wait if we are lucky they said. If I could average $4 per mile for the next two years I would feel fine about it. Its nerve racking paying so much when not being certain about what the rates will be but I don't see any other choice other to give up and shut down the business. My truck has over 700k miles on it right now and I am paying more in repairs(plus lost time) than the payment of a 200k truck. I don't see a used truck being an option anymore.

I clicked submit before I can write why. Yes I disagree on the used truck part.

For an owner operator putting 100k into a used truck will get them 500k miles at the minimum with minor maintenance.

Same model can be applied to fleets but to attract drivers they need to newest and best trucks on the market.

Now think about it. Every 5 years you spend 200k on a new truck. While you can spend 100k revamping that old unit.

    Which is more cost effective?

    RefMata and tiddlytanker Thank this.

If you could get 100k out of the 5 yr old truck then seems it would be the same only way less headache to go new. At the rate things are going this is perfectly feasible. IMO
