I have a 21 Peterbilt 579 with mx13 engine and four dash switches are not working. Auto start, Air dump, 5th slide, and axle interlock. I tried pressing them and nothing happens. I looked at the fuses and they’re all good. Those 4 switches also aren’t lit up like the other dash switches are. Is there anything else I can check before I take it to the dealer?

Switches are datalinked to VECU. Dealer will likely need to connect Davie and relearn dash switches. Any recent work, updates or batts dead?

The electrical system in newer trucks is a nightmare. Petes and probably the rest of them almost all the circuits are duplexed or multiplexed. As an example, take all your cruise control and engine brake functions, 4 switches worth of them, 1 wire.

I'd pop off panel and see if daisy chain wire is connected.
