I gotta ticket for parking in a handicap space when I was 21. During truck driving school, I got rejected by several companies. They said that I would represent the industry poorly. I showed them didn't I?

 

And look how right they were.

He probably didn’t report it on his application.

 

That’s grounds for any company to reject an application..i guess they think they’re entitled to whatever jobs they want..

 

They said I couldn’t handle the pressure of driving a big rig and I started with Bulk HAZMAT so yeah. People talk out of their butts. Especially hiring managers.

 

Acknowledge and move on.

 

Tickets you get in a personal vehicle affect your CDL, that’s pretty common knowledge.

 

Why do so many people think there’s a differentiation between a personal vehicle and a commercial vehicle? When you have a CDL a ticket is a ticket and goes on your MVR.

 

One thing I’ve noticed is that there is a high bar to meet to get any sympathy here in the bad company area.

Some guys post and present a decent argument articulating their position, and those posts are valuable. I’ve read many pros and cons for the companies I’ve worked for. Very helpful.

But it is beyond me why guys post over petty stuff. The result is usually the same and predictable.

 

How bad was the moving violation? I worked there for six years and never heard of that policy.
