I have a driver who had hit something and caused his fuel tank to start a dribble of fuel. He noticed and quickly got the tank drained and truck parked. Now we’re stuck with either finding somebody to pipe the fuel tanks in a way to only pull from the pass. side as urgently as possible or finding a rental truck (0 inventory within a 1000 mile radius of driver’s location). Shops are giving us a weeks time to even give the truck a look.
Any advice? Any small time fleets or rental agencies I may not be aware of near Western Nebraska? Any shops you guys know and trust that could get this driver rolling? I’m trying to figure out a way to get this done, trailer’s running a produce load so we’re kind of screwed in terms of time. Figured I’d ask you seasoned guys if there’s any other way to go about this outside of having to send a bob tail ~1,500 miles to grab this trailer. Thank you and I appreciate your help!

You can't get him to seal it with something? Idk if sreelstik would work I've used jb weld on a pickup tank once or twice.austinmike, 86scotty, Boondock and 3 others Thank this. -
Epoxy putty for a temp fix should allow you to get rolling. Find at a hardware or auto parts store and will let you put fuel in that tank. Unless he's got a gaping hole.
