Sirloin tips, potatoes, carrots and onions wrapped in foil. Place on exhaust manifold and enjoy once you reach your destination

You can buy an inverter that you plug into the cig litter and will run what you need. I have three. I have the truck running if I'm using the microwave or something that will draw a lot of power. I charge my computer and phone and haven't had any problems with them.
Check them out in a Pilot or Flying J.
Good Luck.

Buy your own inverter & cooler, or fridge & put m in yourself. And you can always ask the company to put them in 4 you.

Don't even worry about the signs if you are in and out in 30 minutes.
Unless it would be dangerous to park there, of course.
But there is usually room in the back if it isn't crammed full of trucks waiting to be unloaded.RockinChair and Geekonthestreet Thank this. -

Used to do this over camp fires when I still had time to go and enjoy a week/weekend camping trip.
Foil pack meals are simple and taste great if you do them right.
Use heavy foil...whether on the manifold or over a fire, or a grill, etc. for the foil/hobo dinner.
I'd offer other ways to cook but others have suggested most of them.
They have 12v slow cookers, roasters, the lunch box thing, etc etc. Google 12v cooking gear, and likely get a ton of results.
Good luck!
