What to do for loads when found in a dry State?

    With a 30 foot he would be limited to a single unit and at best get $1.20 a mile and would have to add it to his insurance in addition to a price hike on the premium. With a 40+ foot for at least 2 units it might make sense to backhaul cars to avoid deadhead miles.

    Stay out of the southeast at all cost or be capable of hauling cars out.. TX & FL are pretty much the same crap show.. even getting cars out of those states is hard to find decent rates.

    edit.. just noticed the 30ft trailer..

    yea the 30' is a kick in the pants, also a fun update, over weekend realized this load is taking us to Florida on spring break week, crossing fingers to get in and out same day, i cant imagine the prices of gas and lodging.

    I don’t know about the spring break week, but holidays (load the day before) are the only time when you may actually find a decent load from a bad area. It’s been my experience at last.
