What’s the best way to get to 45 south of Dallas when you are coming from OKC on 35? ( Going to Houston)
It’s been a few years since I been down that way and didn’t know if much has changed.
Thanks.
Best route around Dallas

I think I took that route once. Doesn’t it take you right by the drag strip?
-
Yep. I too, think that is the best way to go

I’ve been through Dallas dozens of times since I live in metroplex. I would just run 35E/366/45 or 35E/30/45 and try to hit it at off time.
Stay off 635 (construction)
They finished a lot of the construction through the Dallas area and it moves okay if you just grab the correct lane.
35W has construction going on right now between 114 and 820 and bottlenecks big time at 820. Not horrible but not much fun either. Probably a bit less stress that way though.
As you know one idiot can screw you for hours going through the metroplexLast edited: Mar 14, 2022
