Have you used the R123 tires? I know you should have some good experience with them if you do. Need to get all new Trailer Tires from the tire incident yesterday.
I need new tires for my trailer, what do you recommend?

Id have to look. I’m not totally sure which model. They came on the trailers new with Bridgestone as well as the trucks and I’ve been happy with them. I don’t think you can go wrong.Rideandrepair and Siinman Thank this.

Don't feel bad, I do even worse for tire wear. Probably don't get much over 50,000 miles on drives. Open shoulders before winter. No funny wear just wear out. But I never drive more than 20 miles in a straight line, turning and backing constantly on gravel.
I figure buying tires is a good write offRideandrepair, GYPSY65 and D.Tibbitt Thank this. -
Good to know I'm not the only one. What brands do you like run ?Rideandrepair and GYPSY65 Thank this.

I've ran a bunch of kelly KDAs, few sets of double coins and a set of firestones once. Always something some what aggressive.
Even when I hauled livestock regionally I'd really have to try to get 70k on drives. Guy I ran with ran the expensive michelins and would get double the mileage I would. But I didn't feel like taking that gamble with expensive dang tiresRideandrepair Thanks this. -
I run mostly used steers. Can’t have any flat spots, or uneven shoulder or River wear. Among the different brands, not much difference. So called Trailer tires have less tread depth. They claim they’ll last longer. Not sure I believe that. Had a new set of Bridgestone steers once. They lasted a long time. All wore evenly. Some that surprised me were Soleus brand. Bought 2 new mounted together. Also had a couple Goodyear’s that lasted a long time surprisingly. Even the occasional used Chinese steer wears well. I don’t suggest buying premium tires for a Trailer. Too many hazards. I’ll run almost any brand. No recaps. I’ve had good luck for years doing it that way. I keep a close eye on them, buying one maybe 2 at a time. New purchases always in a set. Sometimes there’s good deals online, if free shippings included. T/A has a new brand at a decent price. Not Ironman, but Ironsomething. Lol. Chinese tire. Looked pretty good, and a decent price. Check Wal mart. Online. Free shipping in a couple or few days to home or local Wal mart. Sometimes they have some real good deals. No minimum purchase required. By all means if a good deal on Bridgestones or another premium tires available. Get them.
God prefers Diesels, GYPSY65 and Siinman Thank this.
