Not saying i won't run 68 cuz i know i will. But i feel that faster speeds seem to increase the overall stress factor of everything going on around me. I also know that dispatch is aware of how fast our trucks are. I have been in what i thought was a time crunch on making a delivery on time before and during the conversation i had with dispatch about it, they brought up the speed limit that the truck would run when saying you can make it on time.

I have found myself hung out to dry in the left lane by other trucks at 68 as well as 65.

My company truck is set at 75 mph. I don’t run that fast but it’s nice to have the speed to get around the the turtle racing turd fest the mega’s do when you can finally get around them.

Oh I get it totally. Folks have to run based on their comfort level. I personally find it less stressful to operate at slower speeds. I've don't the wide open truck, and such. It doesn't bode well for me. The lone perk is maybe having a little more, with emphasis on little more, passing ability. I know this load weighing 44,500 I'm bringing back from Jersey would put a damper on running 68....hell 65 too lol

Hi fellas, I was wondering who is the best dispatcher to work with at Climate Express. I really miss driving there & I want to come back but I don't want to have Justin as my dispatcher. I think that he is a darn good dispatcher but he just runs his drivers really hard & I've had some drivers at the driver's lounge tell me that. See ya.

They all do that lol.....I have Travis and in 2021, I ran somewhere in the ball park of about 150k miles. It's the Climate way lol. You come over here, and you run those #ClimateMiles. They want drivers to make money, and they want to make money. I'm headed back from Jersey now, and I picked up yesterday. This load will dropped today, and I'll have another one to pick up and deliver Monday afternoon in Wisconsin. Basically 1200 miles from Friday to Monday.

I have Justin, and I think he's great. Anyway I'd rather run hard than run baby runs or sit around to much.

I mean if I'm going to be away from to work, then I'd just as soon run as hard as possible while I'm out.
