Cheap freight losers are destroying the market this month.

I've actually had brokers tell me, "it covers your fuel". Gotta love how some of these places are so audacious that they think they have a say in how the Carrier runs his business.

 

ive always viewed trucking as a startup capital machine. A restaurant would be so difficult, but a spot that specializes in cravings foods sounds smarter. Ex: customized french fries, frozen alcohol drinks on college areas, etc.

Mold treatment businesses, had a guy I know charging 40k to insurance for a clean. Took less than a week.

I’ve always heard the answer to the term backhaul, is Theres no such thing as a backhaul. The term assumes you need to get back to a specific area/ Customer. The Loads often pay twice the cost of fuel to run it. Pays lol your fuel for the round trip. The terms been around for as long as I can remember. A lot Operate like that. Making $5.00 one way, $1.00 back. $7000 week, for one round pulling a Reefer, same thing every week, for 2300-2400 miles, back when a Dry Vans best week was $5000-$6000 for 3000 miles.

I know 2 places like that and they're only open Thursday-sunday. They make bank. One place is a pizza shop with the best pizza in the area. They only do pizza and a few different subs, everything made from scratch. The other place is a BBQ pit with homemade ice cream and a brewery on site. Both places are always packed.

Edit: The pizza shop comes out to about 50 for 2 large pizza including the tip. It's worth it tho I'll gladly pay for good food

I wouldn’t attempt a Restaurant with a big menu. We have a lot of competition here. I’d open a small Breakfast, Lunch place. Start at 4:00 AM, close at 2:00, home by 4:00. Good Southern homemade Breakfast, Soup, salad and Sandwiches for Lunch. Nothing too fancy or expensive.

 

Iam gonna starta cult become the leader build a compound in Texas.. and promise my members 5 hookers and a life of paradise get them to sign everything they own over to my church..
Then I'am gonna mix up a big batch of Kool-Aid ..
