Originally it was designed for industrial/marine use but very common in tugboats etc. The 3408 was never intended for road trucks when designed it was piloted toward the industrial/marine market. Fact is an engine brake was never designed for the 3408 only a brake saver was offered.

Local Mack/Volvo dealer has a FULL lot of used trucks. It was never that full before Covid. Granted 10 or so were from one fleet, but they were so full they were lined up to the entrance. It wasn’t like this a few weeks ago.
