Yeah, apparently the guy who told me FC was gone, didn't know what he was talking about. His email is still active. And my GTM hasn't heard anything about his "departure". So, I guess he's still here.
So, are you at a DC that originally received a PENNY but is in proximity to one where they originally got the 0.084? They only bumped us up to a NICKEL, but maybe they're equalizing the DCs that are close to one that got the good raise.
Well, looks like they're finally accepting you into the family. Our area is consistently written about in the press as having some of the highest costs of living, and highest increases in costs of living, not to mention the fact that we service 3 of the 10 largest cities in the country, and they still didn't give us a good raise. Even with the NICKEL, we didn't keep up with the national average inflation rate, and housing costs here are a skyrocketing. So, we'll wind up making less this year than last when adjusted for inflation, and be well under water when total cost of living is considered. Definitely time to start looking for a new job!
