How do i keep the lawn grass without having to keep it watered?

I would very much enjoy the feeling of grass between my toes in the morning

That material, I think it might be a neoprene, that yoga mats are made of... not the really thick ones, but I had some stuff like that that was maybe 5/16" or so, with one side sort of a pebbled finish. Works great for floor mats, a little cushiony, waterprooof, ad it wears really well. Home Depot, maybe?

Knowing that most owner ops do not keep their truck for too long anything that you purchase will work, however if you are like me you keep it for ever, 2005. If you do, when the carpet , rubber mat, etc is up dry the floor. Vacuum, sweep etc, then get a rust paint and paint everywhere. After the paint is dry, hopefully you choose a colour different from the truck so you can see where you missed. Then using something like (Canadian product)
KROWN - AEROSOL RUST PROTECTION - 400G Code: 2024 cover the floor. Then put the new flooring down. Fun fact : Volvos rot . Using the same product my doors after 6 years are not rusty and where the frig and tall closet , while starting has slown (yes it is a real word) down. Volvo put fiberglass behind the closet and frig to deaden the sound but it traps water. So if you can spray there. That is your weekend. Have fun!
