End Dump Tailgate Wiring Question

    I bought a used end dump trailer. I can't find a wiring diagram for the tailgate air valve. It has two wires. I tried adding power to the lines and nothing happened.

    Does anyone know the wiring for a valve like this (it has two wires). Is one a power and the other a ground? Thank you

    One power and one ground, it doesn't matter which is which since it's just a coil. Doesn't matter which direction the electrons flow

    Have you checked it with a multimeter? If there's no continuity through the coil you're going to need a new one

    ETA - Might be this one, clean it off and look for numbers
    Air Solenoid Valve, Three Way Solenoid
