If I take it in a pick up and trailer combination over 26,000 pounds. What do I have to do later to get class a tractor trailer airbrakes with no restrictions CDL?

If you take your road test with a pickup & trailer weighing 26,001 pounds and over you will have to take another road test later in a Class A vehicle with air brakes to get rid of the "no air brakes" restriction that will be put on your "pickup" CDL.

You will have a Class A CDL with Automatic Only and No Air Brakes restrictions.

I have the same dilemma. I’m going to just go for the class 8 no restrictions and get it over with

Not sure as I've no affiliation with the company but since the regs are only a couple of months in place could be that they are or are in the process of meeting the requirements for entry level driver training.
Or could be they have equipment for sale soon...lol
This is the government we are talking about.
I'm currently waiting on my haz mat threat assessment from the TSA for my DL renewal.
It's been 7 weeks and my paper license is good for 5 more but have never waited this long before.

What companies would hire out of that school? I would be curious to know.
