Just got a new VNL 860 and want to wire up some backup lights, are the aux connectors in the same spot as the previous generation in the engine bay? Right under the fuse box zip-tied to the main harnesses from the cab?
I see at least two metri-pack 280 2 pin connectors that aren't connected and want to be sure. It's too dark to check with the multimeter.

Tend to think the prudent thing to do would be to have a little patience and want until you have enough light to use a multimeter to check. Just my thoughts.
KB3MMX and Snailexpress Thank this. -
Siinman Thanks this.

Wish I could help. I was an electronics technician many years ago now and I drive a 2022 VNL760. That said, none of that gives me any insight on how you might figure it out. My only suggestion would be call a Volvo dealer and see if you can't find an actual Volvo mechanic who might be sympathetic toward your plight and help you out.
gearjammr78 and Siinman Thank this. -

Post an update on here as well when you find out. I pick my 2023 VNL 860 up this week and will take a look and ask if you have not figured it out by then.

I worked on the F4-G Wild Weasel for about 2 years at George AFB near Victorville California. Then, ended up in the intelligence community. I was in Germany and Europe at the height of the Cold War with the Soviet Union. I worked in a unit that supported the many intelligence efforts by multiple 3 letter agencies in Europe. It was pretty awesome and one of my biggest 'what if' regrets that I left that unit, but could have easily stayed (naturally, a girl was involved!).
Crude Truckin', KB3MMX, simonsocm and 1 other person Thank this.
