Stick a hi power flash light in fuel cap hole in top of tank and look for any kind of trash in bottom of tank?
lwlevens, Rideandrepair and Gix1k Thank this. -
I’ve done that several times. Nothing in there.baha, lwlevens and Rideandrepair Thank this.
-
Tell me about it. So the job I was on when this first started over a month ago that I wasn’t able to finish. Yesterday, I booked all next week with them and now I’m likely to have to cancel due to this. I’m positive they’re going to tell me to lose their number.Shawn2130, lwlevens and Rideandrepair Thank this.
-
I know what you mean company's don't like when you have to cancel all the time. When one of my tri axles goes down the drivers will jump into one of my buddies trucks lucky for me he has 22 tri axles so there's always a few trucks sitting around. If it wasn't for my buddy my drivers would've been long gone.
baha, Rideandrepair and Gix1k Thank this. -
You’re so fortunate to have that option. I’m kind of kicking myself I didn’t trade this truck for the Pete I showed you guys.Siinman, Rideandrepair and lwlevens Thank this.
-
Yeah well you never know about that Pete or any used truck you buy. Someone else I know bought a used Mack and the engine blew a couple months later, then he just parked it. Trucking or hauling is a tough business. Everytime my drivers call I'm afraid to answer the phone besides that they're always bi@@@ing about this and that. I actually hate it.
austinmike, Rideandrepair, Gix1k and 1 other person Thank this. -
is there a check valve in the Fuel Filter Base ?lwlevens and Rideandrepair Thank this.
-
Yes and it’s new. The filter base was replaced last week.Shawn2130, lwlevens and Rideandrepair Thank this.
-
I think it does, even though the fittings are on the sides, it draws fuel up, in a closed siphon action. Question would be, if it draws from both tanks, or just one. And whether the pick up tube inside the tank is sucking air, or a supply hose has a low spot causing air, and losing its siphon/prime.lwlevens Thanks this.
