Would one consider a Volvo reliable?Dave_in_AZ Thanks this.

I think any owner op could get any brand of truck new and if maintained properly get the same reliability out of it
A lot of the issues are from abuse and ignorance
But.
The fit and finish is usually the bigger problem between brands and even that is getting to be more and more equal with each passing year as more snap together plastic parts are added -
I wouldn’t consider anything built in the last 15yrs particularly reliable. They’re emissions and electrical nightmares from the factory.

Honestly, If you are looking to buy any new truck, find out what warranties they have and what they include.
A DEF system crapping the bed can be a nightmare and easily cost tons of money throwing parts at it and downtime. -
Thstd a frustrating notion lol

Depends who beat on before you buy it

All the experts and esteemed members here on TTR told me I'd bumped my head when I bought my first one.
That was 5 years ago.
Had $800 left in the bank.
Now have several. Brand new $500K home, new Camaro, couple hundred U's in the bank.
But I didn't listen to the experts either.GYPSY65, Badmon, AModelCat and 1 other person Thank this.
