Doing your own oil change and lube on equipment is the easiest way to save money that I can think of. I would never pay somebody $500 or more to service my truck. I wouldn't pay anyone to do it at all.
Badmon, Rideandrepair, Oxbow and 3 others Thank this. -
Saving money.. Replace a shock ~120 quote at TA, myself 10 minute lazy job. Replace chamber ~150, adjuster ~150, wipers ~20, bulb ~25, alternator ~250, AC pump ~500, starter ~600+ and so on.. those type of things can be performed easy and with no mess)Phoenix Heavy Haul, Badmon, Rideandrepair and 2 others Thank this. -
A good drain pan goes a long ways to making it easier. Mine is 15 gallon with a pump. Drain oil, refill, pump old oil right back into the jugs. Whopping $200 for the pan, and I've always wanted one anyway.Badmon, Rideandrepair, GYPSY65 and 3 others Thank this. -
Rideandrepair, Last Call and God prefers Diesels Thank this.
