Love them or hate them, it sucks to see a long time player in the game close up shop.

 

Naturally I used to see them all the time in our part of the country - less so recently now that I think about it. I know nothing about them, but I can't help but wonder if that niche in transportation isn't really hard for a large company to compete in. Perhaps O/Os and small outfits are going to be the only ones who can flourish in that market.

That's pretty sad. I hope those drivers will be able to transfer within the company or maybe find something outside.

But for those of you looking to buy a trailer, you might be able to find a deal.

 

I hate to see any bunch with that kinda time invested quit. It says volumes to me. That said it’s what I do and the only thing I know to do at this time is hang on. I’m sure I’m in for a bumpy ride. I’m also sure I’ll have to step out farther and stay loaded instead of doing out and back regional stuff with few reloads back toward Southwest Mo.
