Last time we had runaway inflation it took 20% interest rates to put an end to that.
Mortgage and car loan rates are lower than the rate and inflation and yet people are shocked why cars and housing is mooning.
Rates are crashing and fuel to the moon!

No, I could get some tomorrow. It’ll never be a show Truck. Be a great starter Truck for someone with a little bit of mechanical knowledge. I helped him figure out the a/c. It was missing a pressure switch or something. Not sure if it works. Fan switch wasn’t working, he wired a manual on off on the dash. It may still need proper repair. Located in Metro Detroit. I think the drive lines been rebuilt. New fifth wheel very recently. It is what it is. Given the overhaul, radiator, fifth wheel, king pins. it’s worth it, if someone wants a dependable Truck. The engines a 2000, not ELD exempt. Still it’s a good engine. No EGR ever. Still a 21 yr old Truck. It will always need something. I can’t guarantee anything. But I’d buy it myself given today’s market if I needed a dependable cheap Truck.77fib77, ProfessionalNoticer, shooter19802003 and 2 others Thank this.

The thing isn't really the rate, it's perception. Most folks today only know super low 0% rates. So anything more is horrible. How about guys who bought houses and such in the 70s-80s? Those guys know 10%+ interest rates....and paid them. Imo: cheap credit is bad. It leads to people spending above their means. That's why folks on minimum wage have a $200k house, 2 cars, a sxs and a camper. Then when they don't get that OT, they're sweating bullets. All while not having a single dime in savings.ProfessionalNoticer, 77fib77, Western flyer and 8 others Thank this. -
