Container Freight Rates Spike to New Extremes, up 500% for Asia-US, Asia-EU since Early 2020.

Yup I’ve been working 4 days a week Mon-Thurs been grossing 6800-8600. 10hr routes loaded one way empty the other way and being home for 2 nights off 3 days has been awesome. One reason why I didn’t go lease to Schneider , F2F , Landstar Advance trucking etc my area Norfolk, Va is still paying these great road rates.

 

Danny, I am starting with intermodal out of the port of Virginia, Norfolk. I am working for a gentleman that owns a truck but he is not an owner operator. I will be pulling out of south hill, va. Pay isn't quite as good as you mentioned. I've hauled tanker and flatbed in the past. It would be great to have someone to speak with concerning questions, lessons learned, and overall perspective about Norfolk port. I tried messaging but I need 2 more posts it says.
